Sculpture # 48. Faux Mobius: (8/24): SOLD
This piece was initially designed as three twists, but I thought that two twists would work. This was a mistake and it takes three twists with a four sided piece to be defined as Möbius. The two twist develops 2 independent 2 rotation spirals. Then pondering how to enhance the piece with paint I decided since there were two independent spirals that did not intersect then two colors of paint would define those and make for a different piece!! So a black and grey stripe were painted for each of the two individual two rotations
Weight: 13.4 pounds,
11 1/4’ in diameter,
36” in circumference,
3” in thickness.
A UV and water protected varnish also applied.
