Sculpture # 53 “Scrambled Friends” 2024/2025. ($300 USD)
This sculpture was initiated in Gore New Zealand Dec. 2024, however the stone was too wet to sculpt and had to dry for about 10 days before I could complete the sculpture. The “scrambled” pattern was spontaneous and pieces were added as the color and the form seemed to fit. Each colored form is over lapping or touching one of the other forms creating the “friends” and was finished at my home in Mukilteo in Jan 2025. The independent base was created in the same way.

Circumference 28 2/8 inches.
New Oamaru stone (limestone) and acrylic paints with a UV and Water protective varnish applied when completed. The base sits on a lazy suzie enabling vision from all sides.
